The CVT (Continuos Variable Transmission) devised by Girotto springs from the known concept of exploiting the properties of a two coaxial rotor free-wheel in order to transfer power and rpm from one rotor to the other in a controlled manner.

On this transmission there are several Girotto's inventions, and for the sake of simplicity they are divided into chapters in the site.

Girotto's philosophy does not allow for rest. Every new project is not only the final point for study and innovation, but also and above all the starting base for future developments. In this way from an initial idea Girotto's CVT has evolved, every time improving its design. The result is now a compact mechanical transmission, with high efficiency and very cheap to manufacture.
